Surrey Heath MP's Bill to tackle number plate cloning gets covered by BBC Surrey

In response, Surrey Heath MP Dr Al Pinkerton has introduced the Vehicle Registration Marks (Misuse and Offences) Bill to Parliament. The bill seeks to close legal gaps, strengthen enforcement, and stop innocent drivers from facing fines and hardship due to number plate cloning.
